AppRanks verdict
Generated from live marketplace data — refreshed daily
Spigots is a category-leading Salesforce app with a limited review volume. It is listed in the Data Management category on Salesforce AppExchange, which AppRanks treats as the canonical taxonomy node for ranking and competitor comparison. 1 reviews put it in the early-traction tier — useful for early-stage stores willing to be on the leading edge. Early-traction review counts are sensitive to single launch periods or feature events, so a 30-day re-check before bigger commitments often resolves whether the trend is sustained. The free tier lets you trial the entry feature set without committing a payment method. AppRanks tracks rating, review count, pricing tier, and category position daily — the figures on this page reflect the most recent scrape from the canonical Salesforce AppExchange listing.

About Spigots
How Spigots works
Spigots is an easy to use automation solution addressing some of the shortcomings of OOTB Flows in Salesforce. Use cases include: round robin Lead distribution, declarative HTTP callouts, Permission Set assignment management, time-based criteria, rollup-summary fields, email alerts, patching holes in other automation, running things up to ~once a minute. Spigots is a general purpose tool that helps solve the problems of the day easily and completely. The App comes fully supported by a certified Salesforce expert, ready to help you implement whatever it is you need.
Key features
- Round Robin Lead Distribution: Supports assigning leads out to your team with advanced capabilities! Also, a general purpose tool for creating, updating, deleting, or undeleting records of any type based on other records / data in the CRM.
- Declarative HTTP Callouts: Automatically sync data to or from 3rd party APIs. This is a very general purpose way to integrate with pretty much any API with any form of auth. JSON or XML. Detailed Logs of every request and response.
- Time Based Criteria: Send an email 30 days before an Opportunity Close Date. Share read access to a record for 15 minutes. Deactivate an Order after its expiration date. This is a much more robust and less error prone solution than scheduled Flow actions
- At the max of 5 Report subscriptions? Receive an unlimited number of alerts when data meets a certain criteria WITHIN MINUTES! This is handy when deploying changes, to ensure that you are the first to know if something isn't working as expected
- Patch holes in other automation: Noticing that other automation is failing due to record locking, transaction limits, timing issues, or unknown causes? Define invariants that are constantly enforced. Automatically retry until the condition is satisfied
- Rollup Summary Fields: elegantly maintain rollup-summary fields asynchronously. This solution is scalable, continuously enforced, flexible, and easy to monitor. The App Runs as a single User with the permissions of your choice, making it less complicated
- Need to run Flows, Batch Apex, or some automation more than once an hour? You can't do this with an OOTB Schedulable. Spigots allows you to run other automation up to ~once a minute. Get the benefits of asynchronous with nearly synchronous execution.
- Fully supported. Our team is ready to help you get setup and get the most out of this product ASAP. Our mission is to help you solve your problems as efficiently as possible. We created this tool after years of experience, and encountering many use cases.
