You can disable Webixso on specific post types from the plugin settings if you only want to share some of them. How to exclude a post type from Webixso Go to Webixso → Settings → General. Enable the Exclude specific post types toggle. Select the post types you want to skip from the dropdown — they appear as removable chips. Save. Webixso will now ignore those post types everywhere (sidebar, automation, dashboard listings). Leave the toggle off to keep every public post type supported, which is the default. Facebook Link Sharing Mode Facebook accounts can be configured to share posts either as image posts (the default, with or without a design) or as native link posts with a rich link preview card generated by Facebook. Link sharing is perfect for publishers and news sites that want the preview image pulled from Open Graph metadata and the clean “article + description” layout. Switch between Image sharing and Link sharing per Facebook account under the account’s settings. When link sharing is active, Webixso sends the post URL as a native link, strips duplicate URLs from the caption, and skips the featured image requirement. Select one or multiple profiles, then publish your WordPress post — it gets shared instantly. When a share succeeds, you receive a clear notification confirming it reached your networks. Configure server cron for accounts with daily limits to ensure reliable, scheduled delivery. How to Set Up Auto Posting Go to Webixso → Accounts in your WordPress admin. Click the gear icon on the account you want to automate. Toggle on Auto Posting. Optionally set category/tag filters and a daily posting limit. If you set a daily limit greater than 0, configure a server cron as described in the settings page. Save your settings. New posts matching your rules will be shared automatically. How to Filter Posts by Category or Tag Only publish certain posts to specific social media accounts: Open the account settings (gear icon) for the desired profile. Select which categories or tags must be present for auto posting. Save your settings. Now only posts matching your criteria will be auto posted to that account. How to Stop Auto Posting for Individual Posts Override automatic posting on a per-post basis: Edit any WordPress post. In the Webixso sidebar panel, deselect the accounts you do not want to share to. External Services This plugin connects your site to the Webixso platform in order to create and publish social media posts. What the service is used for Fetching your connected social media accounts and design templates. Creating and publishing posts (with or without designs) to the selected social media accounts. What data is sent and when When you connect your site and manage accounts, the plugin sends connection/authentication data and basic site context (such as site URL) to the Webixso API to validate access and list available accounts and designs. When you share a post (manually or via automation), the plugin sends: Post content pieces (title, excerpt or trimmed content, categories and tags, permalink URL). Information about the selected social account IDs (and, where relevant, page/board identifiers). Optional image URL (featured image or first image in the content). When automation is enabled, this data is sent in the background according to your configured schedule and rules. Where the data is sent All API requests are made to the Webixso API endpoint at https://webixso.com (for example, the base URL used by this plugin is https://webixso.com/api/v1/external). How to revoke access You may revoke access at any time by either clicking Disconnect in the plugin’s settings screen or revoking access from your Webixso account on webixso.com.
