Show modified Date in admin lists
This plugin shows a new, sortable, column with the modified date in the lists of pages and posts in the WordPress admin panel. It also shows the username that did the last update. We needed this functionality for one of our websites and didn’t find a suitable plugin for it. The idea of our plugin is based on the plugin Sort by modified which has some problems displaying the information correctly in latest WordPress versiones. We love Admin Columns, but the free version doesn’t allow sorting the columns. We also have included translations which are important for us as we are based in Valencia (Spain). SHOW MODIFIED DATE IN ADMIN LISTS in your Language! The first release is avaliable in English, Spanish and German. In the “languages” folder we have included the necessary files to translate this plugin. If you would like the plugin in your language and you’re good at translating, please use the native WordPress Translation functionality. New to Translating a plugin? First read through the Translator Handbook, then select your locale at Translating WordPress and finally go to the translation page for this plugin to translate it. Further Reading You can access the description of the plugin in Spanish at: Show modified Date in admin lists. Contact For further information please send us an email.
WP Last Modified
WP Last Modified adds the ‚last_modified_date‘ shortcode to your WordPress installation. This shortcode shows the last timestamp of your post/page. Simply use the „format“ attribute for custom date formats (it uses PHP’s date() function). The “description” attribute enables a brief description which changes has been made with the last modification. WP Last Modified shows also the actual revision of and the publication date of the post/page. You can customize the text which will be shown under each post/page under settings -> WP Last Modified Settings. You can also hide one of the elements if you do not want them. With version 1.1.0, WP Open Last Modified was renamed to WP Last Modified. Features: last modification timestamp of a post/page publication timestamp of a post/page timestamp format customizable revision count custom text with placeholders last modification description excluding single posts/pages from displaying the last modification timestamp
