Setting up Registrations for the Events Calendar Install the plugin “The Events Calendar” by Modern Tribe from our welcome page (if not already installed). If you haven’t created an event, do so by going to the WordPress dashboard and navigating to Events -> Add New. A registration form will now appear on your created event or any other published event. Add a registration form for a specific event to another page on your site using the shortcode [rtec-registration-form event=743] with the “event” setting being the post ID for that event. Blocks also available. You can configure the form fields, messaging, registrations limits etc by navigating to Registrations -> Settings. Google offers some HTML snippets to embed your public Google Calendar into your website. These are great, but as soon as you want to make a few adjustments to the styling, that goes beyond changing some colors, they’re useless. Because of that I wrote a very simple widget, that fetches events from a public google calendar and nicely displays them in form of a widget, allowing you to apply all kinds of CSS. The source code should be quite easy to modify. License The plugin is published under the GPL v3. Previous versions (<= 0.2) did not mention a license; this has been fixed in the latest trunk and will be included in the next release version.
