Disable Wallet Editing Once wallets are set up, prevent edits by adding this to your wp-config.php: define( ‘MYCRYPTOCHECKOUT_DISABLE_WALLET_EDITOR’, true ); Admin Hardening Toggle these options in Settings > MyCryptoCheckout > Global Settings > Security: Administrator Lockdown (Freeze Admin Creation): Proactively blocks the creation of new Administrator accounts to prevent privilege escalation attacks. Enabled by default. Disable Built-in File Editor: Disables the native WordPress Theme and Plugin editors to prevent code injection. Disable XML-RPC: Shuts down xmlrpc.php to block common brute-force and DDoS attack vectors. Wallet Change Watchdog Automatically emails the site administrator with details if wallet addresses are manually modified in the dashboard. Frontend Heartbeat Protection Real-time verification ensures the displayed wallet address matches the database, immediately redirecting the user to safety if tampering is detected. External services MyCryptoCheckout API * Usage: Upon plugin activation an account is created on the MyCryptoCheckout API server: api.mycryptocheckout.com. The only data that is sent is your WordPress install’s public URL and the plugin version. This info allows the API – which functions solely as a blockchain crawler – to return updated exchange rates, blockchain transaction confirmations, and license status (if any) to your site. The plugin version is used to help answer requests made by the plugin (different plugin versions speak to the API server differently). See how MyCryptoCheckout works. Log in, or sign up if you haven’t yet. In the sidebar on the left choose Store. Click the button Generate Credentials. You will now see your Api Key and Webhook Secret, save them somewhere safe temporarily. You will only be able to see the Webhook Secret once! After refreshing or changing page you will no longer be able to copy it. However, you can always regenerate your credentials as needed. WARNING: Don’t share your credentials with anyone. They can use it to place and validate orders on your behalf. On the WordPress side Go to your WordPress admin dashboard. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings. Choose the Payments tab (or Checkout in older versions). Click on xMoney. Add your Api Key and Webhook Secret and click Save. (Optional) You can change the Callback URL if you are not using the default WooCommerce API. Known conflicts with other Plugins Some plugins that may create problems with the WooCommerce API: Subscriptions – xMoney plugin doesn’t support yet automatic subscriptions, so the payment method won’t be displayed when there is a Subscription on the cart. WPML – If configured to use URL parameters, it redirects the HTTP requests to the WooCommerce API to the site URL with the lang=en parameter. One of the solutions is to change WPML to a folder system (/en/), another is to add the default language parameter in the Callback URL setting (e.g. https:// /?lang=en&wc-api=wc_utrust).
