The minimum PHP memory limit is 128Mb, but we recommend to use a higher limit (memory_limit = 256M). PHP 7.2 at minimum is required. From Matomo 6 onwards, PHP 8.1, MySQL 8.0 or MariaDB 10.6 will be required at minimum. If your server does not meet those requirements, the plugin will not update to Matomo 6 and will tell you what needs upgrading.
