When using the AI Assistants (Prayer, Blog Coach, Reflection Journal), the text you write is securely transmitted to an AI text-generation service to generate contextual writing suggestions. The plugin supports two possible configurations: User-provided API Key (Default Behavior) Requests are sent directly from your WordPress site to the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service or the OpenAI API endpoint you specify. The text you write (your prompts and assistant replies) is transmitted over HTTPS. No personal identifiers (such as your name, email, or user ID) are sent unless you include them in your content. The AI-generated response is returned to your WordPress site and encrypted locally before saving. The encryption key is stored securely in your WordPress user profile and never leaves your site. Optional Hosted Model (if enabled) If you enable EnigTech’s optional hosted AI models, API requests are routed through EnigTech’s secure proxy endpoint to simplify setup. The proxy only relays text and model parameters; it does not store, log, or analyze any user data. All generated content is stored locally as a post on your WordPress site, under your full control. You can edit or delete your content at any time. LucidPen never shares, republishes, or analyzes user data. External Services LucidPen connects to the following external APIs to provide AI-assisted writing functionality: 1. Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service Purpose: Generates AI-assisted writing suggestions and responses. Data Sent: Text entered by the user in the left panel (Prayer Guide or AI Interviewer) and AI-generated intermediate content. LucidPen does not send any text entered in the right panel (post title or main post content). When: Only when the user clicks “Submit Your Response” or “Let AI (Re-)Compose.” Transmission: Secure HTTPS requests sent directly from your WordPress site.
