What data is sent and when: When an authorized user launches AI Audit, the plugin opens the ByTheWeb.ai Website Scanner in a new browser tab and includes the current website domain in the btw_scan_url URL parameter. Launching AI Audit does not intentionally send private WordPress administration content, passwords, unpublished posts, or private database content. When using AI-assisted Media Metadata Optimization or image analysis, the URL of the selected image is sent to ByTheWeb Cloud for AI processing. When generating FAQ Schema with AI, the plugin sends the relevant post or page text content to ByTheWeb Cloud for analysis. API requests that require an account include the API Key and website domain for authentication and domain validation.
