The plugin builds a standard https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=… URL using that text; opening the link is done in the guest’s browser and sends the encoded venue string to Google. RSVP deadline reminder emails (optional) — When enabled under Settings → Logistics, a daily scheduled task may send wp_mail reminders to guests with a pending RSVP (and optionally declined) on the days you configure before the RSVP deadline. Delivery uses your WordPress email configuration (SMTP plugin, host mail, etc.); no separate third-party API is required for email.
