AppRanks verdict
Generated from live marketplace data — refreshed daily
Azure DevOps by Git-Zen is a well-rated Zendesk app with a limited review volume. It is listed in the IT and HR category on Zendesk Marketplace, which AppRanks treats as the canonical taxonomy node for ranking and competitor comparison. 18 reviews put it in the early-traction tier — useful for early-stage stores willing to be on the leading edge. Early-traction review counts are sensitive to single launch periods or feature events, so a 30-day re-check before bigger commitments often resolves whether the trend is sustained. The free tier lets you trial the entry feature set without committing a payment method. AppRanks tracks rating, review count, pricing tier, and category position daily — the figures on this page reflect the most recent scrape from the canonical Zendesk Marketplace listing.

Azure DevOps by Git-Zen
Customer issues arrive in Zendesk. Engineering work happens in Azure DevOps. Right now, moving information between them is manual. Things get missed.
Git-Zen connects both systems so work items are created, linked, and updated automatically, in both directions.
How It Works
From a Zendesk ticket, agents can:
* Create any Azure DevOps work item in one click: Bug, Feature, User Story, Task, Epic, or any custom type
* Set area path, iteration, priority, severity, assignee, and custom fields at creation time
* Link an existing work item to the ticket
* See all work item updates, comments, and check-ins appear automatically in the ticket timeline
From Azure DevOps, developers can:
* Reference a Zendesk ticket number in a check-in or commit. It appears in the ticket automatically
* Leave work item comments that flow into Zendesk as public or private notes
No Azure DevOps account needed for support agents. No Zendesk access needed for developers.
Key Features
All work item types: Create Bugs, Features, User Stories, Tasks, Epics, or custom work item types directly from Zendesk
Area paths & iterations: Set sprint and area path at creation time, without leaving Zendesk
Custom fields: Map any Azure DevOps custom fields when creating work items
Check-in tracking: Every commit that references a ticket appears inside Zendesk with the files it touched
Two-way comment sync: Work item comments appear in Zendesk; ticket comments post to Azure DevOps
Multiple work items per ticket: Link as many work items as needed to one ticket
Auto-tagging: Zendesk tickets are automatically tagged when linked or when work items are resolved
Role-based permissions: Control which agents can create or modify work items
Simple per-agent pricing: $4 per Zendesk agent, per month. Unlimited tickets and integrations. Free trial included.

Security & Data Disclosure
Git-Zen relays data between Zendesk and Azure DevOps in real time: ticket subject, description, and comments are read from and written to your Zendesk account, and corresponding work item data (title, description, status, assignee, labels, and comments) is read from and written to your Azure DevOps account, to keep both systems in sync. We store your OAuth access tokens (encrypted) and account configuration (connected Azure DevOps account/workspace, sync settings, field mappings) on Git-Zen servers so we can act on your behalf. We do not separately retain ticket or work item content on our servers -- sync state is written back into a private custom field on the Zendesk ticket itself. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 for both Zendesk and Azure DevOps.
