How FriendPay Demo Checkout works
FriendPay Demo Checkout allows users to experience a secure, simulated payment flow inside WooCommerce.
This plugin does not process real payments.
It is built to help merchants preview how FriendPay’s real checkout system will look and function.
Features:
* Modern checkout UI
* Email-based payment link simulation
* 15-minute payment link countdown
* Fake card payment process (no real transactions)
* Auto-generated invoice/receipt screen
* Responsive popup / modal experience
* No API keys required — fully simulated
This plugin is for demonstration and testing only.
How It Works
User enters an email
A 15-minute countdown timer starts
“Send Payment Link” screen appears
User clicks Open Demo Checkout
Checkout page opens
User enters test card (4242 4242 4242 4242)
Shows “Processing…” animation
Invoice + transaction ID is generated
If the link expires → “Link expired — create a new link” appears
