Discover Metric is a WordPress plugin built for Google Discover optimization. It analyzes your articles against key ranking criteria used by Google Discover and gives you an actionable score with one click — right inside your editor.
Google Discover drives millions of visits to news sites, blogs, and content publishers every day. But most content fails to appear because it doesn’t meet Google’s quality signals. Discover Metric tells you exactly what to fix before you hit publish.
What Does It Do?
Instant Article Analysis — Click “Check Article” in the editor sidebar to get a Discover readiness score (0–100) with a detailed criteria breakdown.
Works on Drafts Too — Analyze unpublished drafts before publishing. The plugin sends article content directly for analysis, so you can optimize before going live.
7 Key Criteria — Checks title length, meta description quality, OG image dimensions, lead paragraph clarity, heading structure, word count, and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) score.
Works Everywhere — Compatible with Gutenberg (Block Editor), Classic Editor, Elementor, and Visual Composer / WPBakery.
AI-Powered Fixes (PRO) — One-click AI suggestions to rewrite titles, meta descriptions, leads, headings, and improve AEO with Answer Capsule, FAQ Schema, and structured data.
Apply Fixes Directly — AI suggestions can be applied directly to your editor with one click, or copied to clipboard.
Independent Meta Description Field — Built-in meta description editor with live character counter. Works standalone or syncs with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All in One SEO.
Structured Data JSON-LD — Automatic Article/NewsArticle schema generation, or save custom JSON-LD from AI suggestions.
