About Vacation Mode
How Vacation Mode works
Vacation Mode lets you take time off without leaving visitors guessing. Set the dates you are away, and your site shows a vacation banner and pauses or warns at checkout for exactly that period, then goes back to normal when you return.
Tell visitors what is happening in your own words. Design the banner to match your brand with your text, images, colors and background, show your return date in the message, and choose whether it appears on every page or only on the home page.
If you run an online store, decide how orders are handled while you are closed. Block checkout completely with a friendly message so no orders arrive that you cannot ship, or keep selling and show a warning above the checkout button about possible delays.
Your pages stay online the whole time. The app does not switch any page off, so search engines keep seeing your site while you are away, which helps keep your search rankings for when you come back.
Use it as a holiday mode for public holidays, slow periods or any break when your store is closed.
