How SyncCal works
SyncCal helps appointment-based businesses coordinate Google Calendar events with staff availability in their booking schedules. It provides one-way synchronization, using events marked as Busy in a connected Google Calendar to create corresponding unavailable time blocks for staff.
When a Google Calendar event is rescheduled or deleted, SyncCal updates or removes the related blocked time. The app also checks for existing customer appointments before creating or moving blocked time, helping reduce scheduling conflicts.
SyncCal uses secure, read-only access to Google Calendar. Businesses can select their preferred calendar, manage staff connections, and view synchronization information through a dashboard.
