How Shipping Protection works
Shipping Protection lets you offer your customers cover against loss, damage or theft for a fee you set at checkout, and every fee they add is extra revenue for your store.
Customers see a clear shipping protection option on the checkout page with your title, your fee, a short description, a list of what is covered and a link to your terms. One tick adds the fee to the order total. You decide whether the option starts ticked or unticked.
Call it shipping protection, shipping insurance or order protection, whichever your customers know best, and edit the title, description, list and terms label so the offer sounds like your brand. Set the colors and fonts so it fits your checkout.
Your dashboard shows how many orders added protection, how many customers who reached checkout chose it and the revenue the fees brought in, with a list of recent orders and the protection charged on each.
Please note: this app adds the protection fee at checkout. You provide and run the coverage itself, including any licensing, terms and claims.
