How Shipping Rate Rules works
Shipping Rate Rules lets you build your own shipping options with the rules your store needs. Price shipping by cart weight, cart value or number of items with a simple table, charge per kilo or per pound, charge "first item plus each additional", add a share of the cart value, and make shipping free above an amount you choose.
Offer an option only where it fits: by country, state or province picked from a list, postcode starts and ranges, UK district ranges like IV1-IV28, or city. Ready-made lists cover the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Alaska and Hawaii and more. With Pro, set prices by zone inside one option: add 10 for remote postcodes, or charge 3 for local delivery.
Per-product rules: hide an option when the cart has chosen products or categories, offer it only for some products, such as freight for furniture, and add extras per item or once per order, like a bulky item fee.
Weights in kg, g, lb or oz. Test a cart before you save. Add the app to a shipping region and keep one of your store's own rates or a pickup option there. Optionally turn on a "Rate when nothing fits" for carts no option fits.
