How Appointment Scheduler works
Appointment Scheduler helps the members of Sales/Customer Service/Field Service representatives and other teams to schedule the appointments with their customers based on the availability of the team members.
The Salesforce calendar event can be assigned to only person and cannot include multiple person to a meeting. With the Appointment Scheduler, you can add up to 5 persons to a single appointment invite and assign a host to that appointment. An event record will be created in each of those selected resources' calendars. This event record shows who the host is and who are all the participants of this appointment.
This app utilizes the Salesforce Calendar and therefore the scheduling is based on the events available on the Salesforce Calendar. There will no scheduling conflict as the app shows only the availability times of the selected resources on the Availability Calendar.
The Availability Calendar shown is based on the logged-in user's time zone. The appointment/meeting can be scheduled for any time between 6 AM and 8 PM on the logged-in user's time zone. The duration of the appointment/meeting scheduled using this app is 30 minutes.
