How CommentBox works
CommentBox has been designed to enhance the service agent user experience.
Agents are able to add additional "To" addresses as well as include CC and BCC addresses in their Case Comment correspondence. A checkbox provides the ability for agents to save internal comments to their peers, or send public messages to clients. Include all case followers in emails at the click of a button & drag and drop files into CommentBox to include in comments. A log of recipients is kept in the case comment header.
Drop down menus provide access to plain text email templates to aid agents with responses. Currently, merge fields and HTML/Visualforce email templates are not supported.
Within any customisable lightning console, admins can include the CommentBoxUtility component, allowing users to get notified as soon as a new comment lands on one of their cases.
Inbound and outbound emails from cases are included in case comments, reducing the need to copy and paste the communication
