About AddressTools Free: Address Validation and Standardisation Suite
How AddressTools Free: Address Validation and Standardisation Suite works
Do your users enter the same country as US, USA or United States, or use different names and abbreviations for the same state? These inconsistencies can split regional reports and disrupt sales territory assignment.
AddressTools validates and standardises Country and State fields, helping teams maintain consistent region data in Salesforce. Recognised values are converted to their full names when records are saved, so US and USA become United States, and TX becomes Texas.
Administrators can make country mandatory, require state for selected countries, and restrict entries to recognised country and state combinations. This helps users capture the information your organisation needs while preventing invalid region values from being saved.
You do not need to clean all existing records before implementing. Validation and standardisation apply as records are created or updated, so your team can improve data quality as they work.
