How The Membrane works
The Membrane - A Lightning app build from multiple LWC building blocks, drastically reduces the mapping effort for any Salesforce user (Admin, Solution Architect, Business Analyst, Developer). Simply start with a sample JSON and create the mapping with a rich UX.
With Membrane, we no longer need to create the objects the fields beforehand; YES while we map the JSON keys with Salesforce Objects and fields we can either select existing object/fields or define one in the same UI without leaving the app. Membrane will then give the option to generate the objects/fields and dedicated permission set for the new definitions.
The mapping is not just a documentation. The additional apex class library can then be used (in trigger, flows etc.) to create JSON from the salesforce record and vice versa using the Membrane Id that we created.
The Membrane additionally has features wherein we can make a health check to verify if the membrane (i.e. the mapping is generating the desired results or not) and make changes accordingly.
